Easy way to spot Pfishing Emails
Practically every day I get an email from eBay, Paypal, Wells Fargo, the US Bank or some other "official" site requesting that I verify my account.
These emails look very official. They have the logo, professional language, and a link to make it easy for me to verify my account. The problem is - they are not from the actual company. Worse yet - they're asking me to use the link they provide to login. And when I do - they grab my username and password! It's all a big scam - it's known as "pfishing" - looking for my information.
How do you identify a bogus email message? I've put together a 2 minute video that shows you how to identify a fake email. I know you'll find it helpful.
